About Me

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, The University of Auckland. I received my Ph.D. in Intelligent Science and Technology from Tongji University in 2025. My research sits at the intersection of computer vision, embodied AI, and biomedical engineering.

Research Interest

My current research focuses on 3D spatial understanding, causal inference, and embodied AI. I am especially interested in intelligent robotic systems that can perceive, reason, and act safely in complex physical and clinical environments.

In the MBIE Smart Ideas project, I work on soft-tissue segmentation and reconstruction, tactile-augmented visual tracking, and mixed-reality surgical guidance. I also develop AI-agent smart glasses and robotic Depth-VLA / Vision-Tactile VLA systems, with experience across hardware deployment, end-to-end dataset construction, perception pipeline development, and vision-language-action algorithm design.
